Software Support and Interface Development. The Contractor shall provide programming and analysis support for document imaging systems and interfaces between document imaging systems. The Contractor shall also provide interfaces between document imaging systems and other Government systems and networks. Additionally, the Contractor shall provide new program/application software and related interface development, indices development, and any other software and interface development required to satisfy the Government's requirements. in order to efficiently and effectively accomplish the development effort and standardize the developed systems and major system functions, the Contract shall utilize commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) packages and automated tools wherever possible and feasible. All COTS packages and automated tools selected and utilized by the Contractor shall, at a minimum, meet the applicable mandatory Federal and agency-specific standards.
