Sole Distributorship Sample Clauses

A Sole Distributorship clause grants exclusive rights to a single distributor to sell or market a product or service within a defined territory or market segment. Under this arrangement, the supplier agrees not to appoint other distributors or sell directly in the specified area, ensuring that only the designated distributor can represent the product there. This clause is commonly used to incentivize the distributor to invest in marketing and sales efforts, as it eliminates competition from other distributors of the same product, thereby protecting the distributor’s interests and clarifying the boundaries of exclusivity.
