SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS. In line with operational requirements, work may be at any service location within the Corporation and a component of evening and weekend may be required as part of the normal rostered hours of duty of this position.
SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS. Special characteristics require special attention since deviations in characteristics defined as “special” can affect product safety, useful life, assembly capability, functions or quality of subsequent manufacturing operations as well as statutory provisions to a significant extent. Such characteristics are established by the OEM and/or voestalpine. They are made clear in the relevant specifications and are documented in the document entitled “Special characteristics and documentation with special archiving” and/or are based on the supplier’s risk assessment, e.g. based on the product and/ or process FMEA. All product and process characteristics are of special importance to voestalpine and must be complied with by the supplier. The supplier must identify and label them in all relevant product and process documents, such as drawings, FMEAs, risk assessments, work, testing and production control plans. These characteristics must be given special consideration and monitoring during all relevant planning steps. For the verification of critical characteristics, the scope and retention period for the necessary documents must be defined based on risk evaluation and with due consideration of voestalpine’s and/or the OEM’s requirements. Special characteristics shall usually be structured as follows: critical characteristics (characteristics with special verification) (e.g. CC/ BCC), functionally important / process-important characteristics (e.g. SC/ BSC). The special characteristics per delivery batch shall be measured in sufficient numbers – by risk – and documented and retained for at least 30 years.
SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS. The Resident and the Resident Representative are hereby advised that the Center is a Kosher facility, that all food served by the Center will be prepared in accordance with traditional Jewish rules of Kashrut, and that certain food products (such as pork and shellfish) are not served. It is further understood that, during the week of the Passover Holiday, foods with leavening and certain other types of foodstuffs may not be available.
SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS. (CC, SC, WSC, YC and YS) In so far as is requested by the Valeo customer, the customer specific labels or symbols will also be used as special characteristics on the Valeo drawings. The approach to the Valeo customer labels or symbols must be clearly defined during the APQP process. The following agreements and procedures apply: Critical characteristics (CC) are special characteristics that influence adherence to statutory regulations and/or the safe functioning of the product and/or vehicle. Significant characteristics (SC) are special characteristics that influence product and/or vehicle functioning in terms of customer satisfaction, without influencing adherence to statutory regula- tions and/or the safe functioning of the product or vehicle. Webasto significant characteristics (WSC) are special characteristics that influence product functioning and/or reliability or the manufacturing process, without influencing adherence to statutory regulations and/or safe product and/or vehicle functioning. YC characteristics are special characteristics that have the potential to influence adherence to statutory regulations and/or safe product and/or vehicle functioning. YS characteristics are special characteristics that have the potential to influence product and/or vehicle functioning in terms of customer satisfaction, without influencing adherence to statutory regulations and/or safe product and/or vehicle functioning. Risk disclosure is required for YC and YS characteristics during the course of product and process development (see section 3.6 – FMEA). Depending on the result of risk assessment, and taking into consideration the effective introduction of preventative measures, the demand for verification of process capability and monitoring in series production may be reduced or it may be required. The risk assessment results must be recorded for all YC and YS characteristics and must be approved by Valeo. In the case of CC, SC and WSC characteristics, verification of preliminary process capability and the monitoring of process capability are required in series. Process capability results are an integral part of the initial sample documents.
SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS. A component of evening and weekend work will be required as part of the normal hours of duty for this position.
SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS. Special characteristics are characteristics that require increased carefulness and are not regulated by other processes. Special characteristics are divided into three categories and identified as follows:
SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS. This position will work on a rotating roster with evening and weekend work required as part of the normal hours of duty for this position.
SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS. Generally speaking, all product and process characteristics are important and must be maintained. Special characteristics – those that are important to functionality and process-critical quality, as well as those that require special evidence – demand special care, as deviations in these characteristics could affect the assembly capability, functionality, or quality of subsequent production operations as well as legal regulations in particular. These are determined by us and our customer and/or result from the design and/or process FMEA of the Supplier.
SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS. For each product, Arexim Engineering EAD or it’s customers can define special characteristics, related to safety, legislation, fit, function, etc. The special characteristics will be identified on the drawing or other supporting documentation, as appropriate. For those characteristics, the SUPPLIER must demonstrate short-term capability Cmk ≥ 1.67 and Long-term capability Cpk ≥ 1.
SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS. In line with operational requirements, work may be rostered at any service location within the Corporation and a component of evening and weekend will be required as part of the normal rostered hours of duty of this position. Physical work and manual handling is an intrinsic requirement of working in libraries. This includes standing for significant periods of time, continuous activity that involves movements such as lifting, bending, carrying and pushing.
