SPECIAL EDUCATION/LEAST RESTRICTIVE ENVIRONMENT/MEDICAL PROCEDURES. 16.01 PLACEMENT INFORMATION Any teacher who, as a result of an IEP placement, will be providing instruction or other services for a handicapped student in a special or regular education classroom setting will be advised of the identity of the student with special needs and provided with access to information pertaining to the student’s placement available from the special education teacher and education records containing information of legitimate educational interest to the teacher.
