SPECIAL GUARANTEES AND WARRANTIES. In case of Work performed for which product, manufacturers or other special warranties are required by the Specifications, the Contractor shall secure the required warranties and deliver copies thereof to the Principal Representative through the Architect/Engineer upon completion of the Work. These product, manufacturers or other special warranties, as such, do not in any way lessen the Contractor’s responsibilities under the Contract. Whenever guarantees or warranties are required by the Specifications for a longer period than one year, such longer period shall govern.

SPECIAL GUARANTEES AND WARRANTIES. A. The CM's obligation to correct Work as set forth in paragraph 1 above is in addition to, and not in substitution of, such guarantees or warranties as may be required in the various sections of the Specifications. FOR DCAMM USE ONLY B. Guarantees and warranties required in the various sections of the Specifications must be delivered to the Designer before final payment to the CM may be made, or in the case of guarantees and warranties which originate with a sub-contractor's section of the Work, before final payment for the amount of that subtrade or for the phase of Work to which the guarantee or warranty relates.
