Special Projects. Involved in a planned endeavour designed and implemented to address a resident, nursing, facility or community health care concern or need. (eg. QI project to improve resident outcomes) (10 – 20 points depending on scope of project)
Special Projects. 2:01 The parties hereto express their intent to consider amending certain provisions of this Collective Agreement, by way of an appendix, where this action appears necessary and appropriate for certain projects. The provisions must be mutually agreed upon by the parties hereto.
Special Projects. The Trust may, from time to time, request that the Administrator perform additional tasks above and beyond the general scope of its responsibilities under Appendix B herein. The Trust hereby agrees to pay, or cause to be paid, to the Administrator special project fees as specific in Schedule 1 hereof.
Special Projects. At RECEIVING PARTY’s written request, PROVIDING PARTY, through its Subsidiaries and Affiliates, and their respective employees, agents or contractors, shall use commercially reasonable efforts to provide additional corporate services that are not described in the Schedule 1.1(a) and that are neither Omitted Services nor Resumed Services (“Special Projects”). RECEIVING PARTY shall submit a written request to PROVIDING PARTY specifying the nature of the Special Project and requesting an estimate of the costs applicable for such Special Project and the expected time frame for completion. PROVIDING PARTY shall respond promptly to such written request, but in no event later than twenty (20) days, with a written estimate of the cost of providing such Special Project and the expected time frame for completion (the “Cost Estimate”). If RECEIVING PARTY provides written approval of the Cost Estimate within ten (10) days after PROVIDING PARTY delivers the Cost Estimate, then within a commercially reasonable time after receipt of RECEIVING PARTY’s written request, PROVIDING PARTY shall begin providing the Special Project; provided, that PROVIDING PARTY shall have no obligation to provide a Special Project where, in its reasonable discretion and prior to providing the Cost Estimate, it has determined and notified RECEIVING PARTY in writing that (i) it would not be feasible to provide such Special Project, given reasonable priority to other demands on its resources and capacity both under this Agreement or otherwise or (ii) it lacks the experience or qualifications to provide such Special Project.
Special Projects. A bureau may identify a project for a period of no more than one (1) year and assign employee(s) to that project for its duration. Any employee(s) so assigned will have the right to return to their originally bid work unit and cannot be involuntarily re-assigned for at least eighteen (18) months. Employees assigned to a special project continue to accrue seniority in their previous work unit and may bid on future assignments during the project, but will not move to that new assignment until the conclusion of the special project. The duration of the project may be extended by mutual agreement between the City and Union(s) involved.
Special Projects. 2:01 It shall be necessary for both Parties to mutually agree to amend provisions of this Collective Agreement by way of Appendices, where this action appears necessary or appropriate for certain projects because of the project location, type or size, or the Owner's specifications.
Special Projects. The following compensation shall apply to special student projects:
Special Projects. With respect to special services provided by the Bank from time to time with respect to the Business (including, without limitation, consulting, surveys, gift certificate calls and fulfillment, rebate fulfillment, telemarketing and special processing or accounting reports required in connection with promotional activities), the Company will pay to the Bank amounts to be agreed on a program-by-program basis. To the extent not otherwise provided for in this Agreement, (i) the Bank shall not incur expenses required to be paid or reimbursed by the Company for any project in amounts in excess of $1,000 without having first obtained prior written or oral authorization from the Company for such expenses; and (ii) the Bank shall not incur expenses required to be paid or reimbursed by the Company for any project in amounts in excess of $50,000 without having first obtained prior written authorization from the Company for such expenses; PROVIDED that, in the event any terms of any such written authorization are in conflict with the terms of this Agreement, the terms of this Agreement shall be controlling.
Special Projects. Corporate Employees. The costs, fees, compensation and other expenses of any persons engaged by Manager to perform duties of a special nature, directly related to the operation of the Premises, including, but not limited to, in-house or outside counsel, accountants, bookkeepers, auditors, employment search firms, marketing and sales firms, and similar firms of personnel, shall be operating expenses, payable from and consistent with the Annual Operating Budget and not the responsibility of the Manager. The costs, fees, compensation and other expenses of those personnel of Manager assigned to special projects for the Hotel shall also be operating expenses payable by the Lessee and not the responsibility of Manager. The daily per diem rate for those personnel shall be based upon the actual costs of Manager in providing its personnel for such special services or projects, without xxxx-up for fee or profit but including salary and employee benefit costs and costs of equipment used in performing such services, overhead costs, travel costs and long distance telephone. Such special services shall include, but not be limited to, those matters which are not included within the scope of the duties to be performed by Manager hereunder and, if not provided by Lessee, would involve the Lessee’s engagement of a third party to perform such services; for example, special sales or marketing programs, market reviews, assistance in opening new food and beverage facilities, legal services, accounting services, tax services, insurance services, data processing, engineering personnel, and similar services.
Special Projects. Direction and support of all special projects, as requested and authorized in advance by the Company.
