Special Provisions for the Elderly. Individuals and Individuals with Disabilities Formula Program and Pilot Program. The Recipient agrees that the following provisions apply to the Elderly Individuals and Individuals with Disabilities Formula Program and Pilot Program assistance authorized under 49 U.S.C. § 5310, as amended by SAFETEA-LU, and subsection 3012(b) of SAFETEA-LU, 49 U.S.C. § 5310 note, respectively, and agrees to follow applicable Federal directives that may be issued, except to the extent that FTA determines otherwise in writing:
