Common use of Special Step Advancement upon Reclassification Clause in Contracts

Special Step Advancement upon Reclassification. An employee on the top step of Classes I through IV who met step advancement requirements during any preceding school years and who is reclassified, shall be placed on the appropriate step in his/her new class based on actual years of District service subsequent to initial step placement.
