Species Information Sample Clauses

The Species Information clause defines the requirement for providing detailed and accurate information about the species involved in a transaction or agreement. Typically, this clause specifies what data must be disclosed, such as scientific names, origin, and any relevant regulatory status, ensuring all parties are fully informed about the species in question. By mandating clear disclosure, the clause helps prevent misunderstandings, supports compliance with legal or environmental regulations, and facilitates responsible handling or trade of the species.

Species Information. The current range of the Sonoma CTS is in the Santa ▇▇▇▇ Plain in Sonoma County, California. The Sonoma CTS inhabits vernal pools and seasonal ponds, associated grassland, and oak savannah plant communities below 200 feet (60 meters). Sonoma CTS spend the majority of their lives underground in small mammal ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ in uplands, while ephemeral ponds play a critical role because they are necessary for breeding. Although Sonoma CTS are members of a family of “burrowing” salamanders, they are not known to create their own ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. They depend on persistent small mammal (e.g., pocket gopher) activity to create, maintain, and sustain sufficient underground refugia. These underground ▇▇▇▇▇▇ systems are critical during the drier months of the year, though juveniles and adults use them throughout the year to grow and
Species Information. The current range of the Amargosa vole is confined to 36 marshes in the Lower Amargosa River Valley in the vicinity of Tecopa Hot Springs and the northern end of the Amargosa Canyon. The Amargosa vole obligately depends upon, and is closely associated with, wetland vegetation dominated by Olney’s three-square bulrush (Schoenoplectus americanus), where it generally occurs in isolated and disjunct marshes surrounded by saltgrass-dominated habitats or more xeric desert scrub or barren areas. Although not all of the mechanisms that drive habitat selection are fully understood, plausible explanations for habitat preference may include the presence of standing and flowing water, reliance on Olney’s three-square bulrush as a vital food source, and utilization of bulrush litter layers (up to 3.3 feet in depth) for thermoregulation, nesting, and predator avoidance.
Species Information. ‌ In this section we provide the most current biological information of the Goose Creek milkvetch, including information from surveys and ongoing research of the species through 2014.
