Specific Market Risk. The capital charge for specific risk is designed to protect against an adverse movement in the price of an individual security owing to factors related to the individual issuer both short (short position is not allowed in India except in derivatives) and long positions. If a “DNS test” result is undefined/unanswered, the tested IP will be considered unavailable from that probe until it is time to make a new test.
