Common use of Split Payments Clause in Contracts

Split Payments. To make a purchase that is greater than the balance on your Card, let the merchant know in advance that you want to split the payment. Some merchants may not accept multiple forms of payment or split payments using two prepaid cards. Tell the merchant the amount available on your Card and use a second form of payment, such as a credit card, debit card, cash or cheque, to cover the difference. You will need to know the available balance on your Card because merchants cannot check it for you. You can check your balance online at xxx.xxx.xxx or call toll-free at 0-000-000-0000.
