Common use of Spontaneous Exchange of Information Clause in Contracts

Spontaneous Exchange of Information. One Focal Point may without prior request transmit to another Focal Point information that has come to the attention of the first-mentioned Focal Point and that this first-mentioned Focal Point considers foreseeably relevant to the accomplishment of the purpose of the Treaty referred to in Article 1. The Focal Points may determine on a case- by-case basis the procedures to be used to exchange such information.
