Common use of Sprinkler Clause in Contracts

Sprinkler. No Owner shall make any alteration to or interfere with the sprinkler system or any other fire fighting equipment or suffer to be done anything to such sprinkler system or fire fighting equipment which would constitute a breach of the Fire Services Ordinance (Cap.95) or any by-laws or regulations made thereunder or any other applicable laws or regulations. If any extension of the sprinkler heads and/or smoke detectors or alteration to the fire fighting equipment shall be required by any Owner, then such works shall be carried out by a contractor approved by the Manager at the expense of such Owner and in such manner as the Manager shall think fit. In addition, each Owner shall, at his own cost and expense throughout the term of the Government Grant and to the satisfaction of the Fire Services Department, provide and maintain an access for fire appliances and fire personnel to the Land and the Development to the satisfaction of the Fire Services Department and permit such access for such purposes and at such time or times as the Fire Services Department may require.
