Common use of STAFF ALLOCATION Clause in Contracts

STAFF ALLOCATION. To facilitate the allocation of staff, the average class size in each school in each category will be calculated and compared to the corresponding system-wide average class sizes based on the Teacher Utilization Reports of October 31 of the previous year. Once the total number of staff and the hold back factor have been determined, the Staffing Allocation Committee will meet to allocate staff to schools. The Committee will allocate staff in a manner that eliminates as much as is practical the difference between the school average and the system-wide average class size for each category.
