Staff Attendance Clause Samples

The Staff Attendance clause sets out the expectations and requirements for employee presence at the workplace or during work hours. It typically outlines the standards for punctuality, procedures for reporting absences or lateness, and any consequences for failing to meet attendance obligations. By clearly defining these rules, the clause helps ensure consistent workforce availability and minimizes disruptions caused by unplanned absences, thereby supporting operational efficiency and accountability.
Staff Attendance. Members will be eligible for a quarterly attendance incentive. Each Member will receive One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) if he or she has perfect attendance for the quarter and Fifty Dollars ($50.00) if he or she misses one (1) day. No sum for the quarter will be paid if the Member misses more than one (1) day. In addition, if the Member has perfect attendance for all four (4) quarters of the school year, the Member shall earn an additional One Hundred Dollars ($100.00). Absence due to jury duty or school related court appearances will not be counted for purposes of calculating this attendance incentive.
Staff Attendance. 1501 The principal and an Association Representative in each building shall serve as the Building Attendance Review Team (BART), and shall jointly review, on a confidential basis, the attendance of staff members in the building.
Staff Attendance. 1. The Parties agree that the consistent presence of professional employees is an essential component of a high-quality educational experience. While recognizing that certain absences are unavoidable, the Parties agree that freuent absences by employees can be disruptive and detrimental to the operation of a school. To that end, the Parties agree to the following process: A. Issues with an employee’s attendance may be included in the employee’s performance evaluation, where the employee exceeds six (6) absences in a school year without satisfactory documentation or explanation. B. A demonstrated pattern of excessive absences by an employee over a period of multiple years may also result in disciplinary action. 2. Nothing in Paragraph 1 shall prevent a principal or other supervisor from addressing a situation involving evidence of sick leave abuse, regardless of the employee’s number of absences.
Staff Attendance. The Board recognizes that a collaborative effort among all ▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ School employees is essential. Therefore, a Labor-Management Committee will be formed in order to keep lines of communication open, encourage cooperation, and discuss issues of relevance to all parties.
