Common use of STAFF FOR TAKING OF INVENTORY Clause in Contracts

STAFF FOR TAKING OF INVENTORY. 16.01 The company has the right to select the regular staff from each of the bargaining units described in article 2 for the purpose of the taking of the annual inventory according to its usual practice and without being bound by the seniority provisions of this agreement, but agrees that not less than five (5) working days prior to the taking of such inventory it will furnish a list to the appropriate local of its regular staff for such purpose, and that if the taking of such inventory requires that the regular staff be supplemented, additional employees required for such purpose shall be selected by the company, consistent with seniority, subject to ability to perform the work required.
