Staff Presentations (Training). 1. When Employees are called upon to present at Agency professional Learning activities that are outside of their expected work duties, they may apply for compensation for the time taken to prepare for the presentation. a. Requests are to be submitted in advance and approval is at the sole discretion of the Assistant Superintendent for Special Education. b. Compensation will be paid at the hourly per-diem rate in place for the Employee at the time the presentation is scheduled. c. Hours approved shall be directly related to the topic presented and greater consideration will be given to new initiatives of the Agency.
