STAFFING IMPACT. In the process of reevaluating the project plan based on the changes in scope, Carnegie Group created a plan that utilized the same number of employees as conceived in the original proposal. Based on U S WEST's desire to limit the cost of the project and a more informed vision of the scope, Carnegie Group reevaluated the labor grades of the employees assigned to various project tasks. Carnegie Group was able to reduce the project cost by making some modifications in the personnel required for the project completion. One change was to schedule a ramp down of the Principal Engineer level employee's hours during the design and development phases of the TFOR application. Another change was to replace a Senior Engineer II level employee with an Engineer level employee during the design and development phases. These changes should not impact the delivery of the TFOR application as presented in this Amendment unless any of the assumptions presented here and in the original Agreement and Proposal are violated.
STAFFING IMPACT. The CDBG contribution to this project consists of federal funds and has already been expended. The proposed subordination agreement will give the Marin Community Foundation loan priority over the CDBG grant. The proposed subordination will not require an expenditure of County general funds.
STAFFING IMPACT. The County Administrative Office manages Cooperative Fire Programs - Fire Protection Reimbursement Agreement No. 1CA06883 with CalFIRE, which includes exploring alternatives to fire service within County Service Area No. 4 and issues dealing with the related benefit assessment. Measure Z also funds planning work done by staff within the Public Works - Natural Resources division for county-wide fire services, including issues related to County Service Area No. 4. The County of Humboldt does not operate any fire departments.

(a) The Employer will assign at least the same number of total bargaining unit RN hours that are equal to those hours that were scheduled in the last week ending prior to June 30, 2009. For clarity, this includes existing vacancies. (b) In the event the Employer cannot meet their ongoing obligation for scheduled RN hours in part (a) above, it shall so notify the Union and fully disclose the reasons thereof. (c) If the failure to staff is a legitimate recruitment issue, there shall be no violation of this Agreement. The Employer will make reasonable efforts to recruit a replacement and will provide the Union with an outline of recruitment activities. (d) Further, if there is a reduction in beds, occupancy levels or CMI or its equivalent below the levels in effect as of June 30, 2009, a reduction in the complement shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement, as long as the reduction is proportionate. (e) If there is any other reason for the failure to staff in accordance with this article, the Union and Employer will attempt to find a resolution and if unable to do so, the matter may be referred to Arbitration. (f) The Arbitrator/Arbitration Board will have authority to determine whether the reduction in staffing was appropriate and shall have jurisdiction to award an appropriate remedy.

  • Program Changes Contractor agrees to inform the County of any alteration in program or service delivery at least thirty (30) days prior to the implementation of the change, or as soon as reasonably feasible.
