Standard Requirements for Footwear and Eyewear. Employees shall report for work equipped with safety boots and, if applicable, prescription safety glasses, which will meet the following standards: (a) Safety boots shall be CSA approved, Grade 1 (green triangle), in good condition, and at least 6 inches high from the sole of the boot. (b) Prescription safety glasses shall be foam sealed frames compliant with CAN/CSA Z94.3 or ANSI Z87.1 or successor standards.
