Standing Charge. Our Charges for supplying the Services may include a Standing Charge. The Standing Charge that applies to you depends on whether you have agreed to pay a Daily Standing Charge as part of your Contract or, if your Premises are empty and you are not using the Services at the Premises as expected in-line with your original quote, you may be charged a Monthly Standing Charge to cover the rental of the Meter and other associated costs. If you are on a Deemed Contract, you must contact us to find out what your Standing Charge is.

Standing Charge. A Standing Charge is made for the Meter, which is the sum per annum stated in the Schedule and is payable in full and in advance.The first payment is to be made on the date of this Agreement and is subject to VAT at the current rate.

You must tell us when you start using the Services again. If you do not wish to pay a monthly Standing Charge, you may have the meter removed at your cost or you may move to an alternative supplier who may not charge you a monthly Standing Charge.
