Common use of State Furnished Property Clause in Contracts

State Furnished Property. The Contractor shall be responsible for the correct use, maintenance, and protection of all articles of nonexpendable, tangible personal property furnished by the State for the Contractor's use under this Contract. Upon termination of this Contract, all property furnished by the State shall be returned to the State in the same condition as when received, less ordinary wear and tear. Should the property be destroyed, lost, or stolen, the Contractor shall be responsible to the State for the fair market value of the property at the time of loss.
