State Safety Oversight of Rail Fixed Guideway Public Systems. To the extent applicable, the Recipient agrees to comply with 49 U.S.C. § 5330 and any amendments thereto, with FTA regulations, “Rail Fixed Guideway Systems; State Safety Oversight,” 49 C.F.R. Part 659 and any amendment thereto, and follow applicable implementing Federal directives, except to the extent that FTA determines otherwise in writing.

State Safety Oversight of Rail Fixed Guideway Public Systems. To the extent applicable, the The Recipient agrees to that: a. It will comply with Federal transit law, specifically 49 U.S.C. § 5330 and any amendments thereto5330, and b. It will comply with FTA regulations, “Rail Fixed Guideway Systems; State Safety Oversight,” 49 C.F.R. Part 659 and any amendment thereto659, and and c. It will follow applicable implementing Federal directives, except to the extent that as FTA determines otherwise in writing.
