State Salary Schedule (LEAP) Placement. All certificated employees will be placed on the salary schedule in accordance with the rules and regulations of the State Superintendent of Public Instruction. A. Employees shall be given full credit for clock hours and/or college credits recognized by the state for salary placement. B. Years of experience shall be calculated in accordance with SPI rules for persons who have been employed for fewer than 180 days in any 12-month period. C. A maximum of three (3) years military service will be allowed when military service interrupted teaching in accordance with SPI rules.
