Common use of Status of Lien Clause in Contracts

Status of Lien. Upon the recordation of the Supplemental Indenture in the office of the Secretary of State of the State of Missouri pursuant to Section 443.451 of the Missouri Revised Statutes, the lien created by the Supplemental Indenture will become effective as to and enforceable against third parties; and all permanent physical properties and Franchises (other than those expressly excepted in or released from the Mortgage) presently owned by the Company are subject to the lien of the Mortgage, subject to the Exceptions.
