Common use of STATUS OF PROVIDER Clause in Contracts

STATUS OF PROVIDER. 16.1.1 For the avoidance of doubt, any individual Provider is an independent contractor and is not an employee of the Commissioner and must not represent him/herself as such. Any individual Provider is responsible for the payment of national insurance contributions, personal tax and social security payments due in respect of any sum paid to an individual Provider under this Contract. Sums paid to individual Providers will be paid without deduction of tax.
