Common use of Status of Substitutes Clause in Contracts

Status of Substitutes. When part-time and long-term substitute employees are temporarily employed by the District in order to perform certain professional educational services the regular employment rights are vested with said regular employee. Substitutes are not entitled to any continuing contract rights pursuant to the Continuing Contract Law of the State of Washington.
