Common use of Status of the Dealers Clause in Contracts

Status of the Dealers. In soliciting purchases of the Bonds from the Corporation, each Dealer is acting solely as agent for the Corporation and not as principal. Each Dealer will make reasonable efforts to assist the Corporation in obtaining performance by each purchaser whose offer to purchase Bonds from the Corporation has been solicited by such Dealer and accepted by the Corporation but such Dealer shall not have any liability to the Corporation in the event any such purchase is not consummated for any reason. Nothing herein contained shall constitute the Dealers an association, joint venture or partnership, with the Corporation or the Guarantor or with each other.
