Common use of Statutory and Other Duties Clause in Contracts

Statutory and Other Duties. The Superintendent shall be expected to perform all reasonable, necessary, and customary duties of the office of Superintendent including, but not limited to, those powers and duties provided in Education Code section 35035 and all applicable provisions of law. The Superintendent shall recommend to the Board District goals and objectives and, unless unavoidably detained, attend all regular and special meetings of the Board. The Superintendent's duties shall include all tasks reasonably necessary to fulfill the duties of the position. In addition, the Superintendent agrees to satisfactorily perform such further duties as may be assigned or required by the Board. The Superintendent shall serve as an ex officio member on all District committees and subcommittees and shall be entitled to submit recommendations on any items of business considered by the Board or any District committee or subcommittee.

The Interim Superintendent's duties shall include all tasks reasonably necessary to fulfill the duties of the position.
