Interim Superintendent's Duties. The Interim Superintendent’s duties shall be as prescribed by statute and by Board policies, rules, regulations and directives. The Interim Superintendent agrees to devote his time, skill, labor and attention to his duties throughout the contract term. The Interim Superintendent shall be subject to the direction and control of the Board at all times and shall perform such administrative duties as the Board assigns to him. By agreement with the Board, the Interim Superintendent may undertake consultative work, speaking engagements, writing, lecturing, or other professional duties and obligations as long as they do not interfere with carrying out his duties and obligations to the District.

Interim Superintendent's Duties. The Interim Superintendent is the chief executive officer of the District and shall faithfully perform the duties of Superintendent of Schools for the District as required by law and as may be assigned by the Board, and shall comply with all Board directives, State of Florida and Federal laws, and District policies, rules, and regulations as they exist or may hereinafter be adopted or amended. The Interim Superintendent agrees to devote his full time and energy to the performance of those duties in a faithful, diligent, and efficient manner.

  • Superintendent The Contractor shall employ a competent superintendent and necessary assistants who shall be in attendance at the Project site during the progress of the Work. The superintendent shall represent the Contractor and all communications given to the superintendent shall be as binding as if given to the Contractor. All Communications shall be in writing when made or shall be confirmed in writing, by the Contractor, within twenty-four (24) hours of the communication.

  • Level Two - Superintendent If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level One, or if no decision is reached within six (6) school days after the grievance was referred to the building principal or immediate supervisor, then within ten (10) school days a written grievance shall be referred to the Superintendent. The Contractor’s Agent or Representative shall have at least 5 years relevant experience as a Site Agent.

  • Board-Superintendent Relationship The Board shall be primarily responsible for formulating and adopting policy. The Superintendent shall be the chief administrative officer for the district and shall be responsible for implementing Board policy. He shall organize the administrative and supervisory staff, and select, place, and transfer personnel with the concurrence of the Board. He is responsible for administering the instruction of students and the business affairs of the school district. The Board members agree, individually and collectively, to promptly refer all criticisms, complaints, and suggestions called to their attention to the Superintendent for action, study and/or recommendation, as appropriate.
