STEP 3 – The Administrative Stage. The sheriff and/or his designee shall receive the grievance, and the sheriff and/or the sheriff’s designee shall attempt to reach an acceptable solution to the grievance within ten (10) business days (Monday-Friday excluding holidays listed in Article 12) after it has been submitted to him/her. The disposition of the grievance shall be made in writing.
