STREAM PROTECTION. 1. Construction and logging equipment will not be operated in Streamside Management Zones. An exception may be provided for through this Contract or the Forest Officer may grant written permission. Additional protection measures may be required in Section VII.G, SPECIAL OPERATING REQUIREMENTS and in Contract Attachments.

STREAM PROTECTION. No debris, soil, silt, sand, bark, slash, sawdust, rubbish, cement or concrete washings, oil or petroleum products, or other deleterious material from project activities shall be allowed to enter into or be placed where it may be washed by rainfall or runoff into the stream. All project materials and debris shall be removed from the project site and properly disposed of off-site upon project completion.
STREAM PROTECTION. Work shall only occur when there is no flowing water present at the culvert site. No debris, soil, silt, sand, bark, slash, rubbish, cement or concrete washings, oil or petroleum products, drilling fluids or cuttings, or other deleterious material from project activities shall be allowed to enter into or be placed where it may be washed by rainfall or runoff into the stream. This measure does not apply to minimal turbidity created by installation of a clear water diversion as described in an approved Construction Site Dewatering and Diversion Plan. STREAM PROTECTION. 1. Spray equipment must not be washed nor wash water discharged where any waterway will be contaminated.
STREAM PROTECTION. Purchaser shall maintain all equipment used for installation or removal of structures free of external petroleum-based products or leaks. Equipment shall be monitored daily for leaks. Equipment maintenance work must be located in an upland area or away from nearby waters as approved by Contract Administrator.
