STRIKE PLEDGE. The Union and the Board recognize that strikes and other forms of work stoppages by employees are contrary to law and public policy. The Union and the Board subscribe to the principle that differences shall be resolved by peaceful and appropriate means without interruption of the school program. The Union therefore agrees that there shall be no strikes, work stoppages, or other concerted refusal to perform work, by the employees covered by this Agreement, nor any instigation thereof. APPENDIX A
