STRIKES AND SANCTIONS. Section 1 Neither the Association nor any persons acting in its behalf will cause, authorize, or support, nor will any of its employees take part in, any strike or stoppage of work as defined by Section 1 of the Michigan Public Acts #336 of 1947 as amended for any purpose whatsoever. The Association will not support the action of any employee taken in violation of Section 1 nor will it directly or indirectly take reprisals of any kind against any employee who continues or attempts to continue the proper performance of his duties or who refuses to participate in any of the activities prohibited by Section 1. Violation of Section 1 by any employee or group of employees will constitute just cause for discipline up to and including discharge.
