STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS. Career & Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) are an integral part of high quality education programs. CTSOs promote occupational excellence, leadership, and citizenship. The District encourages all Teachers of career & technical programs to operate CTSOs as a co-curricular component of their programs. A. CTSO Advisors shall be defined as Teachers of any students who participate in a recognized student organization. B. The following is a list of recognized student organizations: 1. ProStart 2. FFA 3. STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS a. Advisors shall receive reimbursement for the cost of attending all competitive activities pursuant to the Workshop/Seminar provisions of this Contract. b. If a student is eligible for skill competition, the Board will provide for reasonable (travel, lodging, and food expenses) expenses for the teacher in advance. Mileage and parking costs will not be reimbursed when district transportation is provided. c. Teachers will make every effort to attend regional, district, and state competitions when their students are involved. All other normal club activities shall be conducted during the normal student day as part of the teachers’ instructional assignment.
STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS. Unless negotiated otherwise, each student club advisor will be 20 provided a stipend of one (1) unit$600 per quarter (excluding summer session) for each 21 quarter following the quarter the club is officially recognized by the ▇▇▇▇ of Student 22 Services.
