Extra Compensation. The Board shall pay no fees, other than described above, to the PA/E unless authorized by the Board as follows: A. If the scope of the Project or site is changed, the Board and the PA/E shall negotiate a reasonable fee based upon the probable estimated construction cost in changing the scope of the work and the approximate percentage of the estimated construction cost which was used to negotiate this Agreement if, and, as such may be applicable. B. If the DOE or Board requires the PA/E to make major or costly changes to the Schematic, Preliminary or Construction Document Phase submittals, which changes are not caused by architectural or engineering error or oversight, the PA/E shall be paid to redesign for additional expenses in an amount agreed to by the parties. Under no circumstances will the principals of the PA/E and the principals of his consultants be paid a fee in excess of $125 per hour.

Extra Compensation. 1. Final models, photographs and other architectural renderings, as contrasted to study or preliminary models, photographs or other architectural renderings, will be paid for either on a lump-sum basis agreed to in writing by the parties hereto or on the basis of the Consultant’s direct labor cost plus a sum equal to 150 percent thereof; the manner of payment to be determined by the University prior to the completion of performance of such services. 2. The furnishing of a Site Representative at the frequency and duration directed by the University. Payment for this service shall be on the basis of the Consultant’s direct labor costs plus 35 percent, inclusive of all benefits and overhead. The individual and the hourly rate shall be approved by the University. 3. Special technical, engineering and/or consultation services will be paid for either on a lump-sum basis agreed to in writing by the parties hereto or on the basis of the Consultant’s direct labor cost plus a sum equal to 150 percent thereof; the manner of payment to be determined by the University prior to the completion of performance of such services. 4. Testing laboratory services, topographic, utility, traffic volume, air/water quality and property surveys, test borings, construction progress photos, and, in case of the rehabilitation of an existing building, determining the location, measurement and other essential data of existing architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and utility features, the details of which, in the judgment of the University, are grossly deficient from a review of existing information and drawings and/or a physical inspection, shall be paid for either on a lump-sum basis agreed to in writing by the parties hereto or on the basis of the Consultant’s direct labor cost plus a sum equal to 150 percent services. 5. CTSO Advisors will be paid twenty-five ($25) per hour (capped at eight (8) hours per day) for non-discretionary CTSO activities (e.g., conferences, conventions, and competitions) involving students on days not scheduled as part of the regular school year calendar. 2. Extra Compensation. In accordance with University policies and procedures, faculty members teaching during the summer and intersessions may accumulate funds in a special departmental account to be used by the faculty member for legitimate business expenses, with approval of the Department Head. The University agrees to review in an expedient manner the process for the transfer of funds from the faculty member's special departmental account in order to streamline the process and reduce the amount of paperwork required for transfer.

Extra Compensation. A. Members required to attend training by the District beyond the negotiated number of workdays/workhours will be compensated at the rate of twenty-five dollars ($25) per hour, for which Members will submit signed timesheets. B. Members required by the District to work additional workdays and/or workhours beyond the negotiated number of workdays and/or workhours will be compensated at their individual hourly rates (see Section 13.4) for said time, for which Members will submit signed timesheets. C. Mentors will be compensated at the rate of twenty dollars ($20) per hour for mentor activities beyond the negotiated number of workdays/workhours, for which Members will submit signed timesheets.
