Student Services a. High school students in dual credit courses will be given access to the College library, accorded appropriate privileges, and have adequate library resources convenient for use at the site where the course is offered. b. High school students in dual credit courses will be provided the academic support services, including academic advising and counseling, as those on the college campus. c. Prior to the start of each academic year, the High School and College shall collaborate on the development and communication of procedures for the provision of accommodations for students with disabilities enrolled in Dual Credit courses (“Established Procedures”). High School and College shall provide disability services in accordance with Established Procedures and applicable law. d. If a student is enrolled simultaneously in College and in high school in a dual credit program, the two schools may share information regarding the student, in accordance with FERPA. e. All other services provided to regular Dallas College students will also be provided to high school students enrolled in dual credit courses in accordance with applicable law and Dallas College policies.

Student Services. Assessment tasks MUST NOT be submitted to Student Services or to the Main Office. Submission instructions are clearly identified on the Assessment Task Notification Sheet. Tasks must be submitted directly to the subject teacher or the relevant Leader of Learning.
Student Services. The College will provide New Student Orientation sessions to all high school students. These sessions will include information regarding academic policies, support services, cost, and student opportunities and commitments. First time in college dual credit students will: • apply to the College using the Brazosport College common application (ApplyTexas) • turn in a completed Dual Credit Agreement Form with appropriate signatures • submit a high school transcript • take any required placement tests • secure a meningitis vaccine and submit all required documentation • complete New Student Orientation Each semester the College will provide a placement testing session for each high school in the District. Students requiring testing services above and beyond these sessions will be required to test at the Brazosport College Testing Center. Students will be registered directly through the College at regularly scheduled registrations, via the Internet or at special registration sessions. Students needing accommodation in their dual credit courses must self-report their need to Brazosport College’s Office of Disabilities. Any accommodations made shall not fundamentally alter the course content established by the College and are provided in accordance with Section 504 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. These acts guide Brazosport College in making reasonable accommodations in their policies, practices, services and facilities to ensure equal opportunity for qualified persons with disabilities to participate in all educational programs and activities. Dual credit course instructors are required to implement BC approved accommodations as a part of the student’s dual credit instruction with the written accommodation plan provided by Brazosport College’s Office of Disabilities.

MCC is responsible for ensuring timely and efficient access to such services as academic advising, learning materials (e.g., library resources), and other services for which the student may be eligible. One ISD employee per high school campus will be designated as a facilitator for dual credit students. The facilitator will maintain familiarity with MCC resources and services and assist in guiding dual credit students to those services.
Student Services. To ensure student success, South Plains College will provide dual credit students with the same access to academic advising, counseling, tutoring services, and library resources that it provides all traditional college students. Dual credit personnel from the College will offer academic advising services to all dual credit students. These services will address transferability and applicability concerns, degree mapping, and explanations of all college credit that has been earned by a dual credit student. High school personnel may be asked to assist SPC personnel with advising, registration, and other services that support enrollment. Students who anticipate a need for assistance or accommodations must contact the Disability Services office. Students will complete an application for assistance through the AIM portal using their SPC email and User ID and provide appropriate documentation regarding their disability services request, as directed by the Disability Services office.
Student Services. There are multiple service programmes at the universities to ensure support of visa and housing, administration, local language courses and access to on-site and online learning facilities. In addition, an orientation event will be organized to support the students. Relevant information is provided on the EMLex websites of the single universities. The tutoring programme guarantees the mentoring of the student. Disabled students will get an extra tutor for the whole time of studying.

High school students in dual credit courses needing accommodations due to the presence of a disability are responsible for contacting the Disability Services Office of the sponsoring college and high school. College and high school will collaborate to provide services to students with disabilities. 4. If a student is enrolled simultaneously in college and high school in a dual credit program, the two schools may share information regarding the student. This complies with 34 CFR 99.34(b).
Student Services. The parties acknowledge and agree that Students participating in the Clinical Program will have the status of learners, and Student services will not be utilized in lieu of those of professional or nonprofessional staff. As a part of the Clinical Program Students may provide patient care related services, and any such service rendered by Students is incidental to the educational purpose of the Clinical Program.

The College and the School District agree to work together to plan and to try to schedule early admission and/or concurrent enrollment classes a semester in advance of offering the course(s).
