Subcontractor Expenses Clause Samples

The Subcontractor Expenses clause defines how costs incurred by a subcontractor in the performance of their work are handled under the contract. Typically, this clause specifies which expenses are reimbursable, such as travel, materials, or equipment, and may outline the process for submitting expense claims and obtaining approval. Its core function is to clarify financial responsibilities and prevent disputes over which party is liable for specific costs, ensuring transparency and predictability in project budgeting.
