Common use of Subcontractor Clause in Contracts

Subcontractor. The term “Subcontractor”, includes only those having a direct contract with the Company for performance of work on the project contemplated by these documents. Company shall submit the names and addresses of all proposed subcontractors to the City. Subcontractors may be disqualified by City for the same reason that a Contractor may be disqualified. City shall have no responsibility to any Subcontractor employed by Company for performance of work on the project contemplated by these contract documents, but Subcontractors will look exclusively to Company for any payments due to the Subcontractor.
