Common use of Submission of Sample Notification to California Attorney General Clause in Contracts

Submission of Sample Notification to California Attorney General. If notification to more than 500 individuals is required pursuant to California Civil Code section 1798.29, Participant shall, at its sole expense, and at the sole election of CDPH, either: 1. electronically submit a single sample copy of the security breach notification, excluding any personally identifiable information, to the California Attorney General pursuant to the format., content and timeliness provisions of Section 1798.29, subdivision (e). Participant shall inform the CDPH Privacy Officer of the time, manner and content of any such submissions, prior to the transmission of such submissions to the Attorney General; or 2. cooperate with and assist CDPH in its submission of a sample copy of the notification to the California Attorney General.
