Submittals are not Contract Documents. In the event of conflicts between submittals and the Contract Documents, the Contract Documents take precedence and govern the Work.
Submittals are not Contract Documents. Their purpose is to demonstrate, for those portions of the Work for which Submittals are required, how Contractor proposes to conform to the information given and the design concept expressed in the Contract Documents. Prior to starting Work, Contractor shall provide to District an initial schedule for all materials and equipment for which shop drawings are required by the Contract Documents. For each required shop drawing, Contractor shall provide to District the date for the drawing's intended Submittal to the Design Consultant for review. The date required for its return to avoid Delay in any activity beyond the scheduled start date shall also be given.
