Subsequent Suppression Period 6. 9.2.1. ForestrySA will schedule operations to two work periods per day as soon as possible after the commencement of the fire. These work periods will involve a maximum of 12 hours working on the fire line plus change-over and a period of time for travel before and after the work period. An employee will work no more than 16 hours inclusive of travel to and from the fire to their designated start point.
