Substance of the consultations. The consultations will deal with matters of general importance to the specific legal status of the personnel, as referred to in article 4.5 of the WHW. These matters will include those subjects relating to employment law about which consultations must be held in the private sector. Examples are the Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek), the Dutch Extraordinary Labour Relations Decree (Buitengewoon Besluit Arbeidsverhoudingen) and guidelines for the implementation thereof, the Dutch Equal Treatment Act (Wet gelijke behandeling), the Dutch Collective Employment Conditions Act (Wet op de collectieve arbeidsvoorwaarden), the Dutch Collective Redundancy (Notification) Act (Wet melding collectief ontslag) or the SER Resolution concerning the Merger Code. If an act as referred to above does not apply to the higher professional education sector, the parties must act as much as possible in accordance with the act.
