Telephone Consultation. Effective November 4, 2009, employees who are required to provide professional services over the telephone while on stand-by (without returning to the hospital) shall be entitled to a minimum of 15 minutes’ pay for a call received between 0700 hours and 2300 hours, 30 minutes’ pay for a call received between 2300 hours and 0700 hours, at time and one-half times (1½) his or her regular straight time hourly rate, or equivalent time in lieu, per call, regardless of the duration of the call. Any additional time spent on the call over and above the initial minimum time shall be compensated at the same rate but in minimum fifteen (15) minute increments. The employee will complete a record of calls on a form following the period of the call. A call received during a period for which one of the aforesaid minimums is payable as a result of an earlier call will be treated for these purposes as a continuation of that earlier call.
Telephone Consultation. When an Employee, who has been assigned on-call duty, is consulted by telephone and is authorized to handle patient/resident/client matters without returning to the workplace, such Employee shall be paid at the overtime rate for the total accumulated time spent on telephone consultation(s), and corresponding required documentation, during the on-call period. If telephone consultation has been provided by the Employee and the total accumulated time spent on such telephone consultation(s) and corresponding required documentation, during the on-call period, is less than 30 minutes, the Employee shall be compensated at the overtime rate for 30 minutes.
Telephone Consultation. An employee, who has received a work related phone call outside their daily hours of work, shall be paid a minimum of fifteen (15) minutes at the rate of time and one half (1.5 x) straight time rates upon approval by the Employer. Subsequent phone calls within the fifteen (15) minute period from the receipt of the initial call will not trigger an additional fifteen (15) minute payment.
Telephone Consultation. Telephone consultation (including documentation of telephone contact) that is necessary for the guidance of personnel on duty, for telephone conferences and/or for patient evaluation or advice, and that is in excess of fifteen (15) cumulative minutes while the nurse is on-call, shall be considered hours worked and shall be compensated at the applicable rate of pay. Nurses are responsible for duly and accurately recording all such working time.
Telephone Consultation. When an Employee is consulted by telephone and has been:
(a) assigned to on-call duty and authorized by the Employer to handle job- related matters without returning to the work place; or
(b) authorized by the Employer to handle job-related matters without returning to the work place; the Employee shall be paid at the applicable rate for the total accumulated time spent on telephone consultation(s) and corresponding documentation during the on-call period. If the time of the consultation is less than thirty (30) minutes, the Employee shall be compensated at the applicable rate of pay for thirty (30) minutes per incident of consultation. Any calls within a single one (1) hour period will be considered one incident.
Telephone Consultation. An employee, who after leaving work, receives a work-related telephone call to provide off-site assistance and which does not involve a return to the workplace shall be paid for one-half (½) hour at his/her regular rate of pay for calls less than one-half (½) hour in duration. Should a phone call or series of phone calls extend beyond one-half (½) hour, the employee shall be paid for each one-half (½) hour or portion thereof at his/her regular rate of pay.
Telephone Consultation. When an Employee is consulted by telephone and has been:
(a) assigned on-call duty and is authorized by the Employer to handle job- related matters without returning to the workplace; or
(b) not assigned on-call duty but is pre-authorized by the Employer to handle job-related matters without returning to the workplace; the Employee shall be paid at the applicable rate for the total accumulated time spent on telephone consultation(s) and corresponding documentation during the on-call period. If the total accumulated time is less than thirty (30) minutes, the Employee shall be compensated at the applicable rate of pay for thirty (30) minutes.
Telephone Consultation. We will provide reasonable telephone consultation to assist in the implementation and utilization of the Software during our Standard Support Hours. We may require that you submit a support request through the web support portal, depending on the classification of assistance required. Telephone consultation for licensing or other sales-related issues may be limited to our Standard Business Hours.
Telephone Consultation. Where an employee is consulted by a Supervisor or his delegate by telephone outside of his normal hours of work concerning a problem of work, a telephone consultation premium will be paid as follows:
(i) Pay per telephone consultation equivalent to one-half (1/2) hour or the length of the call, whichever is greater, at overtime rates, for calls prior to 23:00, and one (1) hour’s pay at two (2) times for calls between 23:00 and 07:00, except as indicated in (ii) below.
(ii) If a second or successive telephone consultation takes place within one-half (1/2) hour of the end of a preceding call, it will be construed as being part of the preceding call and therefore not be paid unless the combined time exceeds the minimum paid period in (i) above.
Telephone Consultation. When an employee, who has been assigned to an on-call duty or is off-duty, is consulted by telephone and is authorized to handle client-related matters without returning to the work place, the following will apply:
