Substantial Completion Inspection. When the Contractor considers the entire Work or part thereof Substantially Complete, it shall notify the ODR in writing that the Work will be ready for Substantial Completion Inspection on a specific date. The Contractor shall include with this notice the Contractor’s Punchlist to indicate that it has previously inspected all the Work associated with the request for inspection, has corrected items where possible, and includes all items scheduled for completion or correction prior to final inspection. The failure to include any items on this list does not alter the responsibility of the Contractor to complete all Work in accordance with the Contract Documents. If any of the items on this list prevents the facility from being used as intended, the Contractor shall not request a Substantial Completion Inspection. The Owner and its representatives will review the list of items and schedule the requested inspection, or inform the Contractor in writing that such an inspection is premature because the Work is not sufficiently advanced or conditions are not as represented on the Contractor's list. 12.1.1.1 Prior to the Substantial Completion Inspection, the Contractor shall furnish a copy of its marked-up As-Built Drawings and a preliminary copy of each instructional manual, maintenance and operating manual, parts catalog, wiring diagrams, spare parts, specified written warranties and like publications or parts for all installed equipment, systems and like items. Delivery of these items is a prerequisite for requesting the Substantial Completion Inspection. 12.1.1.2 On the date requested by Contractor, or as mutually agreed upon pending the status of the open items list, the A/E, ODR, the Contractor and other Owner representatives as determined by the Owner, will jointly attend the Substantial Completion Inspection, which shall be conducted by the ODR or their delegate. If the ODR determines that the Work is Substantially Complete, the ODR will issue a Certificate of Substantial Completion to be signed by the A/E, Owner and Contractor, establishing the date of Substantial Completion, and identifying responsibilities for security, maintenance, and insurance. A/E will provide with this certificate a list of punchlist items (the Pre-Final Punchlist) for completion prior to final inspection. Substantial Completion Inspection. 6.28.2.1 Within 3 business days after receipt of the request for the Substantial Completion inspection of the Work, the A/E shall notify the Contractor of acceptance or rejection of the request, stating reasons for any rejection. .1 Within 7 days after its acceptance of the Contractor’s request, the A/E shall conduct the Substantial Completion inspection to determine whether the Work, or designated portion, is in conformity with the Contract Documents and Substantially Complete. The A/E shall notify the Contractor, Contracting Authority, and Owner of the scheduled time of the inspection. .2 If the A/E determines that the Work is Substantially Complete, within 3 business days after the Substantial Completion inspection, the A/E shall prepare a Certificate of Substantial Completion that shall establish the date of Substantial Completion and include a list of Defective, incomplete, or unacceptable Work (“A/E’s Punch List“). The A/E’s Punch List shall include (1) the items on the Contractor’s Punch List that are not yet completed or corrected as of the date of the Substantial Completion inspection, and (2) comments from the Contracting Authority and Owner.
Substantial Completion Inspection. An inspection conducted to determine that a project, or a portion thereof, is substantially complete as defined herein, and usable for its intended purposes. The Substantial Completion Inspection results in a list of items to be completed to achieve Final Completion. Substantial Completion Inspection. (a) When Tenant determines that a Component or a Phase of the Development is ready for a Substantial Completion Inspection, Tenant shall provide not fewer than three (3) days written notice to RDC of a date and time for the Substantial Completion Inspection. (b) At the Substantial Completion Inspection for any Component or any Phase of the Development, Tenant, RDC, and the Architect of Record shall mutually inspect the Work relating thereto and shall prepare the Substantial Completion Punch List applicable thereto. If the inspection reveals that the Work for the Component or Phase is not Substantially Completed, Tenant shall promptly perform the necessary unperformed Work and then shall request a reinspection by the same procedure set forth in Section 7.13(a) of this GDA. If the Substantial Completion Inspection (or reinspection as the case may be) reveals the Work for the Component or Phase has been Substantially Completed (subject to the Substantial Completion Punch List), RDC shall issue the certificate required to evidence the Substantial Completion.

Substantial Completion Inspection. 1. As soon as all planting is completed, a review and preliminary inspection to determine the condition of the vegetation will be held by the Owner’s Representatives upon request by the Contractor. 2. The inspection will occur only after the following conditions have been met: a. Landscape areas will be free of weeds and neatly cultivated; b. Plant basins shall be in good repair; c. Irrigation systems shall be fully operational with heads properly adjusted; d. Debris and litter shall be cleaned up and walkways and curbs shall be cleaned of soil and debris left from planting operations. 3. If, after the inspection, the Owner’s Representative is of the opinion that the work has been performed as per the Contract Documents, and that the vegetation is in satisfactory growing condition, he will give the Contractor Written Notice of Acceptance and the Guarantee Period shall begin. 4. Work requiring corrective action in the judgment of the City Representative shall be performed within the first ten (10) days of the guarantee period. Any work not performed within this time will necessitate an equivalent extension of the guarantee period. Corrective work and materials replacement shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents, and shall be made by the Contractor at no cost to the Owner. 5. Final approval notice will be given when all deficiencies are corrected.
Substantial Completion Inspection. Before calling for inspection for Substantial Completion (as defined below), the General Contractor shall determine that the following have been performed: (i) All life safety items are completed and in working order; (ii) Electrical circuits scheduled in panels and disconnect switches labeled; removed; and (iii) Grounds cleared of equipment, raked clean of debris and trash (iv) All approvals, permits and authorizations required by law for occupancy and operation of the Elementary School and Joint Use Park as a public elementary school have been granted by the public agencies or other authorities with jurisdiction, including, but not limited to, the City Fire Xxxxxxxx, and a Certified Playground Safety Inspector.
