SUBSTATIONS. Substations will be designed and projected using the switch and one half connection layout for 500 kV, and the double bar layout with transfer switch for 220 kV. Thus, the Concessionaire will provide any necessary spaces and areas for these types of layouts. Generally, the areas planned for future expansions should be adequately explained and leveled. 2.3.1 Expansion of the de Colcabamba 500 kV / 220 kV substation 2.3.1.1 Facilities under construction a) Two (02) cells for connecting the line to the Poroma S.S., which is equivalent to 2/3 of the switch and one half layout diameter. b) Two (02) cells for connecting the 500/220/33 kV autotransformer bank of, equivalent to 2/3 of the switch and half layout diameter. Conventional equipment with external insulation will be installed: c) One (01) cell for the connection of a line reactor, at the output in 500 kV to the Poroma S.S. d) One (01) 500 kV line reactor of 171 MVAr, consisting of 3 single-phase units of 57 MVAr each, plus one reserve unit and one neutral reactor. e) One (01) 500/220 / - kV and 750/750 / - MVA (ONAF) autotransformer bank, consisting of 3 single-phase units of 250 MVA each, with star/star/delta connection group (Y / and / d), plus a reserve unit. The 220 kV bar system and yard equipment will have a double bar connection layout with transfer switch, comprising the following facilities: • One (01) cell for connecting the link to the Xxxxx Xxxxxx 220 kV. S.S. • One (01) cell for the 220 kV side connection of the 500/220 kV autotransformer bank. • One (01) cell for the 220 kV bar coupling. • One (01) single-phase 15 Ohm series reactors bank, of the air core type, to be installed in the link cell to the Xxxxx Xxxxxx 220 kV. S.S. Likewise, reserve spaces are planned for future 220 kV and 500 kV facilities. The 500 kV and 220 kV described equipment of these facilities under construction is informative. b) Three (03) cells for connecting the 500 kV bar reactor, of 100 MVAr, and the lines to the Colcabamba substation, which are equivalent to the switch and one half layout diameter.
c) Two (02) cells for connecting the 500 kV line reactors, of 100 and 90 MVAr, to the Poroma S.S.Colcabamba and Carapongo substations.
d) One (01) 500 kV – 100 MVAr three phase bar reactor.
e) Two (02) 500 kV - 100 and 90 MVAr line reactors.
f) Two (02) 500 kV series capacitor banks for the Nueva Yanango – Carapongo and Nueva Yanango – Colcabamba lines, which considering a degree of line reactance compensation between 50 and 65%.
g) One (01) 500/220/(*) kV – 750/750/(*) MVA (ONAF) bank of autotransformers consisting of three (03) 250 MVA (ONAF) single phase units each, with a star/star/delta connection group (A/a/d), plus a backup unit. The 220 kV bar system and yard equipment shall have a double bar connection layout with transfer switch, including the following facilities: One (01) 220 kV line cell for the link with the existing Yanango substation. One (01) cell for connecting the 220 kV side of the autotransformer bank. One (01) coupling cell. The description of the 500 and 220 kV equipment is informative in nature. Hence, before starting any expansion works, the Concessionaire must verify the definitive characteristics of this substation in coordination with the concessionaire of the Yanango Nueva 500/220 kV substation.
