Common use of Successions or Assignments Clause in Contracts

Successions or Assignments. (a) This Undertaking shall inure to the benefit of the successors or assigns of the Beneficiaries who shall have, to the extent of their interest, the rights of the Beneficiaries hereunder. (b) This Undertaking is binding upon TECO and its successors or permitted assigns; provided that TECO is not entitled to assign its obligations -------- hereunder to any other person without the prior written consent of each Beneficiary and any purported assignment in violation of this provision shall be void.
