Common use of Successors of Issuer Clause in Contracts

Successors of Issuer. All the covenants, stipulations, promises and agreements in this Indenture contained, by or on behalf of the Issuer, shall bind and inure to the benefit of its successors and assigns, whether so expressed or not. If any of the powers or duties of the Issuer shall hereafter be transferred by any law of the State of California, and if such transfer shall relate to any matter or thing permitted or required to be done under this Indenture by the Issuer, then the body or official who shall succeed to such powers or duties shall act and be obligated in the place and stead of the Issuer as in this Indenture provided.
