Common use of Supplier Warranties and Supplier Patent Indemnities Clause in Contracts

Supplier Warranties and Supplier Patent Indemnities. Boeing will use diligent efforts to obtain adequate warranties and indemnities against patent infringement enforceable by Buyer from manufacturers (Suppliers) of systems, accessories, equipment or parts installed on the Aircraft at the time of delivery that were selected and purchased by Boeing, but not manufactured to Boeing's detailed design. Boeing will furnish copies of such warranties and patent indemnities to Buyer prior to delivery of the first Aircraft.

Boeing will use diligent efforts to obtain adequate warranties and indemnities against patent and copyright infringement enforceable by Buyer Customer from all suppliers and manufacturers (Suppliers) of systems, accessories, equipment or parts Supplier Products (and their replacements under this Product Assurance Document) installed on the Aircraft at the time of delivery that were selected and purchased by Boeing, but not manufactured to Boeing's detailed designdelivery. Boeing will furnish copies of such the warranties and patent indemnities to Buyer prior to Customer as soon as available but no later than delivery of the first AircraftAircraft of a model.
