If the proprietor ceases to use the vehicle for the purpose for which it is licensed, they shall formally surrender the licence in writing and return the plate and door stickers, which remains the property of Uttlesford Council. Current Signage Plates and badges must be placed like this. At renewal, if there is advertising already on the front driver and passenger doors then they may be placed on the rear doors.
