Suspension and Termination of Proceedings. 1. The Parties to the dispute may agree that the panel suspend its work at any time for a period not exceeding 12 months from the date of such agreement. Within this period, the suspended panel proceeding shall be resumed upon the request of any Party to the dispute. In the event of such suspension, all relevant timeframes set out in this Chapter shall be extended by the amount of time that the work was suspended.
